My 10 year old daughter recently took Kids Sewing 1 with Kelly and after the first class, she came home excited and very eager to return the following week. Upon completion of the class, she was extremely proud of herself and her adorable tote bag. Kelly could not have been nicer and I heard nothing but positive feedback from my daughter each week that she went class. She is very excited to move onto Sewing 2!
Kelly is personable, incredibly patient, and does an amazing job of teaching sewing to adults and children. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning from her and my daughter has as well. We plan to continue taking classes with Kelly and highly recommend them to anyone interested to learn how to sew.
Thank you, Kelly Su for teaching me how to sell. I wanted to learn how to sell for a million years so when I saw that you were offering an adult beginner sewing class, I decided to jump in. Your home studio is welcoming, organized, and cheerful. It reflects the creative and talented person that you are. Limiting your student number enables you to give the time and attention to each of us in your class. You were patient, encouraging, and we learned how to sew a tote bag! Thank you again, Kelly I’ll be back for more classes

My daughter (9) signed up for the Sewing Class 1 with KS School of Design. After she completed the class, she came away with a whole other level of confidence and truly loved the tote that she made. She's asked for another class already, and she's trying to figure out how to make her own pattern so that she can make tote bags for her friends!
My 9-year old son just completed the Basic Sewing (level 1) course and absolutely LOVED it. I'm so impressed with how much he learned in such a short period of time about sewing and sewing machines. He came home after the last lesson with a beautiful, professional looking homemade tote bag.
He's already enrolled for level 2 and can't wait.
My daughter recently took private lessons with Kelly. What a fun experience! She absolutely loved it. Kelly guided her through the process of creating a pair of shorts with pockets. The shorts look amazing. My daughter can't wait for Mini Project Runway and more classes with Kelly.
My two children (14 year old boy and 12 year old girl) attended the virtual design school summer camp this summer and both loved the program. They felt they walked away with knowledge about fabric choice, how to measure accurately, how to think about design choices and color selection and the basics around drawing for designing clothing. Both kids loved how Kelly used videos and how engaging the class was over zoom. They are beyond excited to see their designs in person (coming soon) and they would love to take another class from Kelly! Thank you!
