My daughter (12) has been taking the Saturday Sewing Lessons with Kelly for almost a year, and it has been such a wonderful experience. She is always excited to sign up for the next project and can’t wait to go back each week. Kelly creates a warm, supportive environment where kids not only learn practical sewing skills—like using a sewing machine, cutting patterns, and finishing a full project—but also build patience, focus, and confidence along the way. It has been amazing to see how proud my daughter feels when she completes a project from start to finish. This class is a perfect mix of creativity and life skills, and I would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a fun, educational activity for their child.

My kid who is only 9 tried out sewing for the very first time with Kelly and we couldn't have hoped for anyone better. She's enthusiastic about sewing, very creative, has a variety of projects planned out in detail to guide the kids in an organized manner and above all she is very patient with them. My kid loved doing all the projects with her and looked forward to her next project. It helps that the class size is limited to 4 and each student got the right amount of attention. My kid came back with quality, finished projects which gave her a lot of joy.

My 10 year old daughter recently took Kids Sewing 1 with Kelly and after the first class, she came home excited and very eager to return the following week. Upon completion of the class, she was extremely proud of herself and her adorable tote bag. Michelle Flandreau My two children (14 year old boy and 12 year old girl) attended the virtual design school summer camp this summer and both loved the program. They felt they walked away with knowledge about fabric choice, how to measure accurately, how to think about design choices and color selection and the basics around drawing for designing clothing.
