Kids Design Room - Intermediate
Recommend for intermediate sewing level 2 and up.
Kids Design Room is an open sewing room where students can get creative! This class is a smaller class with only 3 students to have more one-on-one time with instructor. Whether it's creating a new design or work on unfinished project, students can work at their own pace. Kids Design Room is a great class for students to grow their design and sewing skills.
Design Process:
- Students can sketch and create patterns based on their ability (must have taken pattern making 101 or have pattern drafting experience).
- Students may use existing patterns and blocks available in class.
- Students may bring store bought pattern.
Sewing Process:
- Learn different sewing techniques (depending on project)
- 1 yard standard fabric is included per lesson, however students may bring their own fabric and trims based on the project.
- Complete the project you've been stuck on and I can help you finish it.

Group Lesson Price: Price starts at $130, and varies depending on how many lesson you purchase. Price includes sewing kit/materials and sewing tools. Maximum of 3 students per class. Class may cancel or shortened if we have less then 2 students registered for class.
What to bring:
- 1 yard of sample fabric is provided, additional fabric and some trims are available to purchase here.
- Students should bring their own fabric and trims for a specific project they are bringing to work on.
- Bottle water/ clear drink & light snack. Please avoid any sort of nuts as some student(s) may have food nut allergies.
Cancelation: You may cancel or swap a class for a different class within 120 hours of your registered class date. If you cancel the class after 120 hour period you will not receive a refund for the canceled class.
DISCLAIMER: We allow students to work at their own pace and never rush to finish a project. There is always a possibility students may not complete the sewing project during the duration of his/her class/workshop.
