Teen Pattern Making Series
Must know how to sew, recommend for sewing level 1 and up.
This is a 4 month series of pattern making. Students will learn the basic foundation of pattern making, learn how to take their own measurements and transfer it to paper and create a sloper block/ template for their body. Each month students will learn and gain new knowledge. I recommend taking all four series to gain full knowledge of pattern making.
- Learn how to take body measurements
- Learn how to draft bodice, sleeve and bottom patterns
- Learn how to draft darts on bodice
- Learn how to copy patterns
- Sew sample project
Ages: 12-17 years old

Time: 4pm-6pm

Sep 12, 19, 26 - Series 1. Introduction to Pattern Drafting
Oct 3, 17, 24- Series 2. Understanding Blocks (Slopers)
Nov 7, 14, 21 - Series 3. Flat Pattern Manipulation (Core Beginner Skill)
Dec 5, 12, 19 - Series 4. Drafting Simple Garment Projects
Group Lesson Price: $300 including sewing materials and sewing tools.
Maximum of 3 students per class. Class may cancel or shortened if we have less then 2 students registered for class.
What to bring: Bottle water/ clear drink & light snack. Please avoid any sort of nuts as some student(s) may have food nut allergies.
DISCLAIMER: We allow students to work at their own pace and never rush to finish a project. There is always a possibility students may not complete the sewing project during the duration of his/her class/workshop.
