GS Beginner Sewing Project
Sewing Level: Recommended for Beginners & Level 1 Sewing
Students may take this class multiple times to learn how to sew different projects and learn different sewing techniques.
Learning Objectives: Learn the fundamentals of sewing using a sewing machine while learning different sewing techniques, (techniques may vary depending on the project and student(s) ability to follow along). Student will start and complete a sewing project by end of this course.
- Learn how to use sewing machine
- Learn how to use different sewing tools
- Learn different types of stitches, (top stitch, edge stitch, & etc)
- Learn how to sew straight and curve lines
- Learn how to sew french seams (depending on sewing project)
- Sew Final Project
Sewing Projects: Apron, Tote Bag, Pillow Cases, Eye Mask & Pouch, Hair Accessories, Snack Bag, PJ Shorts, Finger Puppets, Coasters & Placemats
Ages: 7-16 years old
Duration: 4 hours 1-2 day(s)

Date: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Time: Date & Time can be determined by the group and availability
Group Lesson Price: Minimum of 4 students are required for this workshop.
What to bring: Bottle water/ clear drink & light snack. Please avoid any sort of nuts as some student(s) may have food nut allergies.
Girl Scout requirement: 1-2 parent(s) must be present during the duration of this workshop.
DISCLAIMER: We allow students to work at their own pace and never rush to finish a project. There is always a possibility students may not complete the sewing project during the duration of his/her class/workshop.
